Community Foundation Announces New Hire and Promotion
February 13, 2017 – The Central New York Community Foundation has hired a new employee and promoted one.
Jenny Green was hired as Development Associate. In her new role, she is responsible for gift entry and data management. Green holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Technology Management from Alfred State College. Green previously worked as the Assistant to the Executive Director of Alumni Relations at Ithaca College. Green has extensive experience with Raiser’s Edge software and has a strong background in donor and alumni relations and board management.
Robyn Smith was promoted to Program Officer, Community Engagement. She previously held the position of Manager, CNY Philanthropy Center. Smith supports the Community Foundation’s engagement in local community initiatives, including its managing partnerships of the literacy coalitions of Onondaga, Madison and Cortland counties. In addition, she assists with the development of workshops and other efforts that support the local nonprofit sector. Prior to joining the Community Foundation, Smith spent more than a decade working in the literacy field.
