Greater Pulaski Fund Announces Fundraising Results
January 10, 2014 – The Greater Pulaski Community Endowment Fund (Pulaski Fund) raised $13,015 in individual and business contributions during its annual fall fundraising campaign. The John Ben Snow Memorial Trust gave a generous match helping the fund raise a total of $25,780 making the 2013 campaign the fourth most successful fundraiser in thirteen years.
The 2013 campaign received more gifts and raised nearly $3,000 more in total contributions than the previous year’s campaign. The number of new donors to the Pulaski Fund also increased for the third consecutive year. Strong donation responses were due, in part, to the advisory committee’s outreach activities, including a Business After-Hours networking event at The RiverHouse Restaurant and its letter-writing campaign.
Since its inception, thePulaski Fund has supported the arts & culture, community development, education, environment, health and human services programming of the area by awarding more than $220,000 in grants. The permanent endowment fund supports town improvement programs and projects operated by nonprofit organizations in the Village of Pulaski and the Town of Richland.
