Community Foundation Elects Three New Board Members
May 16, 2008 (Syracuse, NY) – The Central New York Community Foundation Board of Directors has elected three new members to serve three-year terms.
- Raymond W. Cross, Ph.D., President of Morrisville State College
- Joseph B. Lee, General Manager of WAER-FM88
- Melanie Littlejohn, Vice President of Business Services, National Grid
The Community Foundation is governed by the volunteer Directors, all of whom are committed to assisting the Community Foundation in maximizing its impact on the quality of life in Central New York.
The Central New York Community Foundation has served Onondaga and Madison Counties for over 80 years, receiving, managing and distributing charitable funds for the benefit of not-for-profit organizations. Grants are awarded for programs in the areas of human services, arts and culture, education, environment, health, economic development and civic affairs. The Community Foundation has over $110 million in assets and awards over $5 million in grants to not-for-profit organizations annually.
